We at Pompano Beginner's face a daily challenge in ensuring that our client's needs are met. We face an entire host of issues that are directly related to the economy. Pompano Beginner's is fully self supporting from our clients rent payments, however, often new members come to us without jobs or funds and we assist these clients as well. No individual who comes to us for help will ever hear the word no, as long as they want to remain clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. But with this philosophy and open door policy it places an additional burden upon us financially. It is very hard in today's world to meet the financial responsibilities of landlords, electric, cable, sheets, food, bus passes, hygiene items and other costs associated with helping our clients get on their path to becoming stable and employable while maintaining sobriety.

Our program costs are at an all time high and we know that many of you want to help offset these costs by contributing to our cause. The needs in our community is at an all time high. We receive 30 or more calls a day of people needing work, housing, recovery and a host of other issues. We help as many as we can and refer others to other community resources that have county and government funding that we don't have.

Pompano Beginners does not receive any funding from any local, county or government agencies. We are fully funded by our clients that are working or are able to work. We need your help. We would welcome your contributions. We have provided you with the option to pay by credit card via pay pal. If you prefer you can also pay on one our many operating accounts. If you would like to assist with paying on our electric or water bills, we would be happy to provide you with an account number for one of our locations. If you would like to help with the monthly rent on one of our properties we will be glad to provide you that information as well. We also welcome donations of food, sheets, hygiene supplies, clothing, bus passes, and furniture. If you want to help in any manner financially we will be glad to work out arrangements that you feel most comfortable with, please call our office at 954-943-5478 to discuss these options further.

You may also may opt to anonymously help with a clients rent for a week or however long you would like. This can be done by contacting our office directly at 954-943-5478 and speaking with our Office Manager Bobby Walters.

We will gratefully welcome your assistance in whatever manner which is convenient for you. Just give us a call and we will welcome the opportunity to speak with you regarding your contribution.

Also keep in mind that we will be sponsoring a 2010 Winter Homeless Drive later this year. Our goal is to collect 2000 blankets to pass out to the homeless in our community. We would welcome any help in this goal if you should like to participate in this manner.

You can also follow us on our youtube, myspace and twitter. We advertise regularly on 89.1 and 95.9 and will begin posting a monthly newsletter to our site as well. Please look for exciting events upcoming from Pompano Beginners! With your help we can all reach out and help others in rebuilding their lives.
As a reminder note, we conduct a weekly Sunday Meeting with all our residents at 437 SW 2nd Court, Pompano Beach, Florida 33064 at 3:00 pm. You are invited to attend!!! If you would like to do a presentation or otherwise at this meeting please give us a call ahead of time so we can ensure you have time on our Agenda.
Thank you very much for taking the time to visit our website and considering donating to our cause. It is our sincerest hope that God will bless you abundantly in all that you do!
